What for?

What did God put me here for? That is something I have been thinking about lately... my purpose. I am reading The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and if you have not read it before, you should. You know how sometimes it's not the right time for you to be reading something? That's how it happened with this book. I skimmed through it when it first came out but it just didn't speak to me at that point in my life... it was just nothing special. Well, my parents read it last year during the 40 days of lent and my mom wanted us to do it this year as a family. (I know...I'm not Catholic.... I just think sacrificing a tiny bit for 40 days in the year to remember the magnitude of what Christ sacrificed for us is not a bad thing) Now, this book is speaking to me.

Each of us has some sort of spiritual gift. The question is, will we use that gift to the best of our ability to bring the most honor and glory to God? I hope I can and that I will. So that brings me back to my question. What did God put me here for? What is my gift? What can I do to further His kingdom in the best possible way? What am I supposed to do with my life? I am at a crossroad right now. Which path is the one that God has ordained for me?
